Roadworks on Hallatrow Rd by Bovis estate entrance
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 11:25, Wed 8 November 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5187877.
This totally unnecessary roundabout has been under construction now since the beginning of summer and has caused terrible disruption to the area. The biggest issue is that on most days there are absolutely no workers actually doing anything. Whoever organised this solution looking for a problem really needs dealing with as it is unacceptable. This has to be brought to a conclusion.

Temporary traffic lights at the new roundabout are still in operation causing queues at peak hours. The work on the roundabout appears to have been completed several months ago, so there appears to be no reason why the lights should still be operating and the road not fully opened. A meaningful response would be appreciated.

Do you know how much air is polluted in that roundabout? You are asking us not to idle but do you know how much air is polluted at this roundabout? I am also wasting my time and fuel ⛽️ every day.

This new sign is blocking my view when leaving the field with large agricultural machinery causing traffic issues as i am unable to speed out of the gate before i can clearly see if it is safe to do so can this sign be moved lowered or made smaller to allow better view when entering the highway

This fiasco has turned into a full scale farce and someone needs to carry the can and be sacked. It's completely ridiculous and has been ongoing for around 8 months. Truly appalling

Lights failed, stuck on red again. This situation is becoming absolutely ridiculous considering the amount of time these works are taking and the continiung failure of the said lights.

The temporary lights are out AGAIN this morning. They were out at 7.45 and still out at 9.55. They were also out one morning last week. This is getting stupid. About time the council took action against the contractors. Why are the lights even still there when there has been no obvious work done on the roundabout for weeks. GET IT SORTED.
