• Thank you for your report. The stump will be removed once a replacement tree is to be planted at this location. It is being retained at this height as is clearly visible, if it is cut down to close to ground level or removed so there is an empty tree pit this will not be as visible to users of the highway and there is a much higher risk of someone tripping.
