Between Gothic Cottage and The Dell on Church Lane BA26BD

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 10:19, Thu 23 November 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5244735.

The road is like a farm track full of leaves, mud and puddles. It is extremely dangerous and slippery for vehicles. My husband skidded on his motorbike. There is no pavement for pedestrians so very treacherous. It has not been dealt with and is worse than when I first reported it on 7th November.

  • I can confirm what Mrs Chapman has said in her two reports about our lane. It is a complete mess, lots of debris, pot holes and it has just been announced that your council has given the green light for more construction work so that will mean more trucks/heavy machinery which will add more damage to our lane. It feels like we are constantly ignored and forgotten on our lane.

  • It would be extremely helpful if this could be dealt with as soon as possible, thank you
