Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later.
Council ref: 5245182.
The no-parking zone by the school gates is not sufficient to provide safe visibility for vehicles coming down the hill or exiting the school grounds. This is a result of the incline and curve in the road, and vans parked in the first parking spot obscuring the view. As such there is a very short distance between vehicles coming into view and reaching a potential collision point.
The council have refused the erection of a mirror, however before someone is killed, could this be evaluated again, or perhaps consideration given to extending the no-parking zone.
