Outside the Post Office

Reported via desktop in the Dangerous road surface (including ice, mud, spillage or debris) category anonymously at 11:40, Sat 25 November 2023

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5251678.

At the Winter Festival I tripped on the raised kerb stone which has been reported before. A friend of mine actually did fall and needed paramedic treatment. The kerb stone looks like a white line on the normal road surface and creates an optical illusion of a flat continuous surface, especially in poor light at night.

  • Ref: 5251678. I too was a victim of this optical illusion on June 11th 2022 whin I fell and broke my wrist. I reported this online at the time. It is quite appalling and negligent for this to still be on- going with compensation not even discussed.

    Regards
