Loose manhole cover in road

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5262758.

The manhole cover on the southbound carriageway outside the school is very loose and is dropping this has been getting worse over the pass week.

  • This has after the previous repair reported to Midsomer Norton Hollies crumbled apart again.

    From general, the cover fitting needs adjustment to hold one side’s lid

    The hole on every opening is at danger of catapulting a cyclist and needs a flatter cover like a square rather than two Isosceles triangles

    The rate of every opening is every five days

  • The cover is rapidly deteriorating & now makes a very loud noise when driven over, causing it to rock.
