8 Harts Paddock. Tree overhanging whole of Monger Lane and now our property
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 20:29, Sun 3 December 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 9 months, 2 weeks, 4 days, 17 hours, 2 minutes later. Council ref: 5277882.
Overhanging tree from farmers field. This is overhanging across the road with many branches falling off and into the road. We have removed several dangerous ones over the last few months to prevent damage to cars. This included an extensive one that blocked the road. It has now overgrown so much it is beginning to overhang our property. We are concerned that falling branches may cause some damage to our fence or house.

Preliminary checks on streetview do not show any trees on Monger Lane opposite 8 Harts Paddock. Please advise if the location is correct?

Thank you for your response. I can confirm that there is a large tree in the farmers field which overhangs the whole of Monger Lane, as well as beginning to intrude on our property. We have removed many dangerous fallen branches on the road to prevent damage to cars and are concerned that these may now affect our property. We will try to send pictures through when home in daylight hours

Hi Please see below a previous message from us regarding a nearby tree which has now overgrown to road and is above our property. We are concerned that this will cause significant damage to our property if not cut back. We have previously dealt with fallen branches blocking the road. We would be grateful if you could contact the land owner to arrange appropriate solutions.
Hopefully the photos show you the size of the tree in comparison to the house and the overgrowth that is occurring.
Kind regards
Stefan McHale
