Drain blocked internally causing fountain of water to come out of pavment, curb and service cover
Reported via desktop in the Blocked drain: Blockage inside drain category anonymously at 18:41, Mon 4 December 2023
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5282020.
Drain outside orchard house, opposite calinda cottage and briary on bristol rd. This was repaired (seemingly badly), last week, but there remains a blocked drain internally and then water is over-flowing from the service cover, kerb and makes you worried about flooding and integrity of the pavement/road. Occasionally it is like a fountain! If this is not fixed soon could cause major damage to this key road!

Drain still blocked

Your contractor has now come out twice and done work on just the service cover. However their work has twice been undone and the underlying drain remains blocked and it has broken the repairs they have done. The drain needs unblocking and then the service cover will now need fixing for a third time! Money well spent?!
