Park boundaries falling apart

Reported via mobile in the Park safety issue category anonymously at 09:44, Thursday 18 January 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5458886.

The equipment is past it’s life and the boundaries are continually being destroyed by teenagers. The state of the park is encouraging more litter and misuse by teens - including vaping, cigarettes and drugs. I’ve seen teens trying to smash glass bottles there

  • This play park is in disrepair. The stockade ,which you had kindly repaired to keep dogs out and kids in,has been vandalised so many posts are missing. We think that you plan to change the location to make a simpler play park with no moving parts and are happy to work with you on a solution. This is a well used park, set up to honour a girl aged 9 who was murdered in Beechen Cliff woods in 1978. We feel it important that she is honoured and the park maintained in a simple, easily managed format. Thanks.
