Weeds in verge are blocking clear line of sight for drivers.

Reported via iOS in the Removal of Weeds category anonymously at 18:37, Thu 1 February 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5521270.

If you are pulling out from St Peter’s Road onto the main road the view to the right is obstructed by large tall weeds so it is very difficult to safely pull out into the traffic.

Updates

  • Sadly, this is still an issue. Weeds are growing quite large now and are forcing drivers to pull out beyond the junction to see any oncoming traffic.

  • There is a bush on the side of the road (if trying to leave the road it is on the right handside). You can't see any oncoming traffic and near misses have been seen. The bush needs to be removed completely as blocking vision..
