The usual drain is not draining water from the carriageway as always reported but never fixed

Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 22:08, Tue 6 February 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5541002.

As soon as it rains the road as you exit the roundabout heading towards the P&R gets flooded, this has been reported to the Council many times over many years and you have yet to solve the problem. The water this evening covered the full width of the road and was flowing over the pavement on the St Martins's school side which shows how deep it was.

  • On Sunday whilst walking on the pavement towards the bus stop, inconsiderate drivers continued to splash my wife and I.

Always happens outside the Red Lion, 468 Wellsway, Ba2 2Ua when it rains.

When will this be changed please?

  • This area is still flooding, and you still haven't bothered to do anything about it.

  • What a surprise, it rained last night and the road is flooded again, I'm quite convinced that you haven't even bothered doing anything about this problem.

  • It has now been 4 months since this report has been open and the road is still flooding. Add all the previous reports logged against this same location it seems that you can't be bothered to do anything about it, I'm sure that if this was in the City Centre it would be fixed immediately.
