The junction to Eastover Road is dangerous

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 20:07, Wednesday 7 February 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5545832.

This has been an on going problem with many locals complaining. Proposed double yellows to be extended further into the junction which would have solved the issue. Ruled against as it’s believed more people will park on the main road, now it’s all a 20 it’ll help cars to slow down on the main road. Several times a week just pulling in or out of the road, nearly hit a car or block the junction because there are locals parking their car on the junction. Reported to the police, they don’t care and say it’s a council matter, reported to local MP who also doesn’t care because they don’t drive down the road. Seriously needs changing.
