Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 12:07, Monday 19 February 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5598721.
I live in Moorledge Lane in Chew Magna, BS40 8TL and the road has been flooded for two months now. You cannot go across with Wellington or being in a car. I was wondering if there are any works scheduled to solve this problem that it is going on for two months already. Please let me know over the phone.

Moorledge Lane has been flooded non stop since November 2023. The field that is level with Moorledge Lane is so saturated that water flows back out of the field onto the lane when some of the water in the lane evaporates or gets dragged along the lane by vehicles that manage to get through. At it's worst the flooding was approximately 40 feet long and 6 inches deep.
