Ivy Encroaching on Private Fence

Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category by Bath and North East Somerset Council at 15:16, Tuesday 20 February 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5605473.

I am writing to seek information regarding the removal of ivy that is encroaching on my fence from the adjoining public land.

The ivy growth has become a cause for concern as it has not only affected the aesthetics of my property but also poses a potential risk to the structural integrity of the fence. Given that the encroachment is originating from public land, I believe that its removal would be the responsibility of the council. Additionally, I would like to inquire if there are any available funds for the repair or replacement of the affected fence as it has caused damage.
