Poor road surface at the bottom of radford hill

Reported via mobile in the Potholes & road surface category anonymously at 09:51, Wednesday 21 February 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5608414.

The road surface at the bottom of radford hill has holes coming from constant flooding. The surface is very poor causing the water to not run into the drains but run in to private drive ways instead and cause flooding of private property and now causing damage to private drive ways which doesn’t seem fair on the residents. The road needs resurfacing properly instead of constant patching which has caused this problem and I feel that the damage to private property caused from this should as well be rectified.

  • As you can see the repairs from the past have started to break up but also the previous repairs are causing the water to not go in the drains

  • There is a large amount of gravel from when the road was tarred, some was clear before but there is still a large amount there which needs digging away as it is making water miss the drain causing other drains to become overwhelmed with water
