Investigating
Taxi's continuously parked on double yellow lines around The Circus.
Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 15:44, Monday 11 March 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5697175.
Everyday from 6.30 am and throughout the day there are taxi's parked on The Circus using it as a taxi rank. They smoke cigarettes and throw on the pavement. They are a real danger as on several occasions I have nearly run into the back of them and I am sure this has happened to many other people. They are an accident waiting to happen. Why are they being allowed to sit there? Where are the ticket wardens to give them a tickets and the taxi offices need to be informed that this is taking place. Please use the numbers plates of these drivers to report them.

Parking on double yellows in St James' Street needs to be checked regularly too - it blocks sightlines for pedestrians.
