Significant amounts of mud on cycle path caused by contractors vehicles

There have been vehicles on the cycle path cutting down trees. The vehicles have cut into the verge and churned it up pushing a lot of mud /debris onto the path. This is a hazard to everyone but especially cyclists going down the steep slope to Radstock Road. Please can the contractors be held to account for cleaning up their mess?
