Fixed
As reported previously the drain is still blocked but when it rains standing water builds up and eventually crosses the road at this location. The more serious aspect is the fact that there is continuing problem with the mains drainage in this specific location with faecal matter and toilet paper coming out of the drains in the same area and crossing the road. The result is that the two waters become mixed. My concern is that this represents a serious public health problem as pedestrians, dogs and cars have no alternative but to go through this water. This must be resulting the uncontrolled spread of faecal microbes in the area. Fixing the drain blockage would do much to remove this problem. Wessex Water are attempting to deal with the mains drainage problem but their efforts to clean the faecal matter are not helped by the blocked road drain.

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5842732.
Please see above - on-going problem for weeks. The water has drained away for now but the problem will return when it rains again. I say again the blocked road drain is adding to the public health problem associated wit the blocked mains drain.
