Blocked drains in road that floods

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5846324.

I last reported this problem in 2022, it was never resolved. This road has flooded, to an impassable level 5 times this year.

Has drain clearance ceased because of budget cuts?

    Your team came this morning and emptied only the top two drains. Further down the street they look like this still. Please send them back to empty them all properly

  • Crew came this morning but didn't empty 3 drains on the road , outside no 4, 6 , 7 . Drains are completely blocked.

  • Drains now clear, further flood events will block them in future (lots of gravel carried to these drains by floods) so will need monitoring in wetter months.
