Large nail exposed in sand pit

There is a large nail exposed in the sandpit by the diggers. Whilst my husband has managed to kick it down to flatten it and make it less of a risk, if a child is running bare foot in the sand area, it could cause injury. It would also cause a head injury if they were to fall on it.
