Roundabout junction Bath Road/ Chandag Rd

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5908255.

The white roundabout marking in the carriageway is almost non existent. This is due to the majority of vehicles driving over it. On a daily basis vehicles coming into Keynsham do not realise that they need to give way to vehicles on their right (turning into Chandag from Keynsham) and there are near misses on an almost daily basis.

  • I have had near misses on this round - vehicles not slowing down and drivers cannot see the worn markings. I Recommend new markings and the crossing is raised to slow vehicles.

  • Resident called to say that the lines are still very faded and getting worse. Please can we have an update as to when these will be re-painted?
