Enormous tree on council land blocking light and overhanging private land

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 5927404.

I've reported this several times over several years yet the problem remains .

  • This tree was inspected in April 2024 and work to raise the canopy was recommended. This will be scheduled into the annual treeworks program of work needed.

  • This tree is now even bigger than it was when first reported. Now in full leaf it is blocking light, growing over a garden and over the road. It is very close to, and towers over, the adjacent houses more than 3 times their height.
