Width of cycle path significantly reduced due to overgrown verges

Reported via mobile in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 17:40, Saturday 25 May 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6020221.

The overgrown verges on the Bath to Bristol cycle path from Brassmill Lane are significantly reducing the area cyclists and pedestrians are able to use. As a result when cyclists and pedestrians with dogs or children or trying to pass each other there is limited space to remain safe, this is a particular issue when the verge is full of nettles.
