Weeds obstructing a dropped curb

The council spent thousands installing these kerbs but have now left them to become overgrown with weeds! This is creating a health and safety issue for wheel chair users and those with limited mobility. It’s a dangerous situation and quite appalling Also blocking gutters and drains causing flooding when it rains heavy. The weeds are breaking up the tarmac and the kerb stones which will cost the council thousands to repair! Why is the council allowing our residential areas to become overgrown and so wild?
