E-Scooter parking on pavement

This morning (3rd June 2024) the paved area in front of Alexander Buildings was painted with a large dashed box labelled "E-Sctr & Cyc Hire". We were not notified that this work was taking place and if we had been we would have given some useful input. It is important to keep this space free as it is used by small trade businesses to load/unload their vans when working on local homes. The parking and hire of E-Scooters & E-Bikes to date has been working well without the need for a large designated zone. The designated zone (if really needed) should be where they have been parking until today i.e. close to the tree and road.
