Overgrown footpath track

The public footpath near Hang Hill, Shoscombe is overgrown with nettles and branches making it impassable.

  • This report has been directed to the public rights of way team in Highways as the footpath is on private land and the landowner is responsible for the vegetation. The team will take the appropriate action with regards to the landowner.

  • Good point. From this map the start of this track is a ByWay. So needs to be cut back for all users. https://osm.mathmos.net/ prow/ progress/ bath-north-east-somerset/ -/ shoscombe/ .

    It is also the historic route to the Shoscombe-Wellow cemetery from Shoscombe.
