Overgrown vegetation
Reported via desktop in the Overgrown vegetation in Council parks and green spaces category anonymously at 12:18, Tuesday 11 June 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6092893.
The overgrown vegetation over our (no.12 Meadow Drive) fence on the public footpath has caused our house to become damp and dark, as it is blocking a lot of sunlight. We reported it last year but no one did anything. please trim down all the vegetation to a much lower height that it should be, as soon as possible rather than letting it grow continuously as it affects our health.

It is like living by the forest. Sunlight is very limited, which is detrimental to our house and our health. We urge that the council cut the vegetation down.

Upstairs bedroom: The trees are even higher than upstairs bedroom, blocking all sunlight. Trees are nearly as tall as the street lamppost!
We urge that you cut all the vegetation all the way down, lower than the outside fence in the next week.

We were told on the phone that the team will deal with it within a week (1 month ago). No one came, no one phoned us.
