Overgrown nettles and brambles along the Pit Path from Shakespeare Road to Midsomer Norton

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In the countryside category by Westfield Parish Council at 11:19, Wednesday 12 June 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 4 days, 23 hours, 14 minutes later. Council ref: 6097883.

The Pit Path requires cutting back because nettles and brambles are now overhanging the path. The pathway is narrow anyway, so obstructions of this kind pose big difficulties.

  • This public footpath is included in our annual public rights of way vegetation control schedule and vegetation is cut back twice a year. I can confirm that the next cut will be in the next couple of weeks.
