Overgrown hedges on Stockwood Vale

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 11:49, Mon 17 June 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 month, 2 weeks, 1 day, 3 hours, 3 minutes later. Council ref: 6116673.

Hedges are high and blocking view for drivers on the blind bend, trees are also over hanging - this is very dangerous, Please can it be cut back asap?

Updates

  • As per our telephone conversation this morning I have sent some photographs. The problem is neither the house I’ve cut their hedges outside which is added two or 3 foot onto the lane. Also the fields opposite no hedges cut. The trees are obviously overgrowing and covering the cables and also going to start causing a problem, the main problem is it’s a blind bend and after having my granddaughter nearly knocked down last week where we could see nothing I’m really concerned even walking along that part of the lane is now dangerous. Thank you for your help.
