Footpath narrowed by vegetation
Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 11:29, Sun 23 June 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6142354.
Please could your team that did such a great job with the other Jacobs Ladder nearby cut back the plants that are half blocking Donkey Lane for most of its length. There are countless nettles and brambles making passing other people impossible and this is a busy route for the school above. Access to the handrail at the steepest part is also compromised.

When will this be cut back - its is a very steep public foothpath and used frequently, My mother, in her 80's and unsteady on her feet, uses this path almost daily and is unable to access the handrail due to the overgrown vegetation - this is also at the part where the tarmac is uneven so is a real safety hazard. Please sort this out urgently.

A photo from this weekend, as yo can see it is nearly impossible to actually hold the hand rail - this path is used frequently and is extremely steep with an uneven camber so being able to hold the handrail is essential, especially for the elderly or those with mobility issues. Come on BANES, you bang on about 'active travel' but dont really facilitate it
