Yet another bridge strike

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 11:16, Tue 9 July 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 1 day, 1 hour, 31 minutes later. Council ref: 6208068.

At approximately 9.15am this morning, a skip lorry hit the railway bridge arch (Travelling towards the Brass MillsPub). The driver reversed, repositioned his vehicle and managed to drive under the bridge, I doubt he reported this accident to the authorities, sadly I wasn't in a position to note his registration details.

Part of the problem is due to the road sign advising of right of way on the left of the road has been previously hit by a vehicle leaving it bent over and a danger to pedestrians. (See photo) The low bridge sign on the opposite side of the road is obscured by overhanging branches (see second photo)
