Hazard - watch house cafe on new Bond Street

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 13:24, Wed 10 July 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6213463.

I have just walked past the watch house cafe on new Bond Street If it had it been open I may of mentioned my observation to them ? They have left approximately 7 sun umbrella stands out overnight on both sides of the shop premises They are made of granite with approximately 1-2 foot high metal rods / posts I believe these to be very dangerous If some one fell into or on top off it could kill somebody? You could be literally fall on top of the posts and it goes straight through someone The square granite pieces are also trip hazards you could easily tripover fall and bang your head It also is a trip hazard especially for in paired people who are blind , drunk and being assaulted? The lighting can be bad in that particular area at night times as I frequent that area lots while walking my dog One could even end up through a shop window ? I understand why they leave them out at night times it’s easier but surely from a health and safety angle they should be either brought in or a different design ? I hope this can be looked into and solved etc
