Noisy manhole cover
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6220868.
The manhole cover at the bottom of Lansdown Lane has become increasingly noisy when cars drive over it. Living next to it we have found it is becoming more noticeable from inside our house. The manhole cover sounds as if it isn't sitting properly or becoming loose.

After watching it seems that both manhole covers on each side of the road are making banging noises when traffic is going over them. If both could be looked at on inspection.

We live on the same side as the noisy manhole / drain but 4 houses up and it’s driving us crazy Every car sets it off

Not a very good job - the patch has got a real bump on it, which isn't fun to cycle over, or drive for that matter.

This was rectified by what appeared to be a temporary repair. Tarmac poured over existing manhole cover. I am aware of the noise returning, at the moment not so loud as before but would like it dealt with before returning to the previous level.
