This sign is a danger to pedestrians, it looks as if someone has backed up their car giving way to the on coming traffic from the other side of the bridge. On Monday evening my wife was walking back form the train station with a brolly up due tothe rain. The corner of the sign is at head height. My wife walked into the sign causing significant bruising and swellling to her forehead, thankfully there was only a small cut. Had she not had an umbrella up she would have seen the sign, that said the umbrella prevented a deep laseration in her forehead. This ideally needs to be resolved before someone has a serious injury.
