Trees growing very tall and obstructing light into property - 5 Bartholomew Row / Mill Lane
Parks team visit normally in the Spring to cut the trees/hedges on Mill Lane to cut the hedges and trees back, but there are some nesting birds in the tall trees near Bartholomew Row and residents have asked them to stop trimming the trees with the nesting birds. The Parks team stopped cutting the trees in the Spring but haven't returned, and the trees are getting taller and obstructing the view. The birds are no longer nesting - please could you visit and get this cut back? Please could you visit in future later in the year to avoid the nesting birds?

We have looked into this issue and found it is not the council's responsibility. The land the trees/hedge is growing on is not owned by nor is the responsibility of the council. Please let the landowner responsible know instead.
If the hedge obstructs Mill Lane then please report on the council's website under the category Vegetation overhanging a pavement or road from private land.
The report is now closed, further comments may not be monitored.
