Large Tree overhanging property
Reported via desktop in the Trees and woodland category anonymously at 12:02, Wed 17 July 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6240634.
There is a large tree overhanging onto the roof of 27 Wellow Mead. An infestation of rats has been investigated by a Pest Control company as well as a drainage team who can find no evidence for another point of entry so the pests are coming via this overhanging tree onto the property. Please can the council cut this back as a priority.

Thank you for your report. We have investigated your report and pruning back the canopy from your property is included in the tree works programme. It may be helpful to know that there is no legal obligation for a tree owner such as the council to prune or remove trees for reasons of loss of satellite or TV reception to adjacent properties. A television licence allows a property to legally receive television signals but does not guarantee reception or quality of broadcast signal.
