Updates

  • Hawthorn and brambles blocking the footpath. Why should we have to walk on uncut, muddy, wet grass that’s full of dog p** when the people at Beacon Wood House aren’t taking responsibility to maintain this path on their land? Maybe they can’t afford to because they spent all their money doing up their mansion and putting in a swimming pool? The previous owners always maintained this strip of green bordering the wood and it was a pleasure to walk along and a wonderful amenity for dog walkers who could throw balls to exercise their dogs. Now the grass has been overrun with nettles and brambles, etc and dogs can no longer be exercised here. What a waste.

  • Even the great Simone Biles at her Olympic beam balancing best could not traverse what little remains of the path without being ripped to bits by the overgrown hedge or treading in mud/dog poo.

Please make the owners of the hedge cut it back.
