Hedges over growing pavements and weeds in osvrment

Reported via mobile in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category anonymously at 16:41, Wednesday 7 August 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6328763.

Towards the end of Richmond place there are a number of properties with hedges that have been maintained but j fortunately have been allowed to grow out over the pavement. Number 39 is particularly bad. On recycling day when the bins are out , most of the pavement is taken up. Anyone with a pram or pushchair would be unable to use the pavement. This would also apply to wheelchairs or mobility scooters. The hedges should not be allowed to grow past the boundary walls. Also at the start of Richmond Place opposite the Richmond Arms the weeds are knee high and there is also a large shrub growing out of the pavement. When the children return to school they will have to walk in the road, which will be very dangerous at school times
