Pothole on edge of pavement, dropped kerb leading into Keynsham memorial park
Reported via desktop in the Pavement damage category anonymously at 08:39, Thursday 8 August 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6330374.
On Monday 5th August 2024, I was walking down Dapps Hill, from Temple Street and twisted my ankle on the attached pictured hole. I had just said hello to some cyclists, on of whim I knew, when they heard me crash down and came to my aid. I had cut my knee, ripped my jeans and badly injured my ankle. I managed to get home, to Queens Road, where I iced, elevated and bandaged my ankle. On Tuesday morning, the swelling was so severe, as was the pain, I went to the walk in centre where I was x-ray'd. I have fractured my ankle as well as damaged the ligaments. I am unable to work, drive, carry out basic housekeeping duties etc. Please advise who I need to contact to discuss a compensation claim. Many thanks, Ann Trueman
