Vegetation overhanging road on entry hill

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation blocking road or sign visibility - In a residential area category anonymously at 16:13, Saturday 17 August 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6368189.

As you go down entry hill the vegetation from the council depot on the left overhangs the road which force’s drivers to drive to the right of the road which is dangerous as the road is narrow and bends causing a potential hazard to oncoming traffic. The vegetation needs to be cut back to the edge of the road at least. Well done on removing the vegetation that had grown over the pavement slightly further down. Shame the two jobs couldn’t have been done at the same time

Updates

  • Still a load of overhanging vegetation from the old council depot that needs a thorough cut back. The road is narrow there and only serves to force the traffic further out in the road which is hazardous
