Speeding
Reported via desktop in the Faded road markings category anonymously at 12:02, Tuesday 20 August 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6378163.
Vehicles driving at excessive speeds along this road due to insufficient advisory signs and faded road speed advisory signs. Worst offenders are HGVS who are travelling at speeds in excess of the 30 mile limit. Also extremely dangerous overtaking along the length of road just before Hobbs Wall just before the road bends round to the right. Double white lines needed there. This problem has got considerably worse since the introduction of the 30 changing to 40 mph at Herbert Gardens a short distance to Hobbs Wall.
