  • Vegetation - including brambles - continues to protrude into Highway. There are no pedestrian paths but is regularly used by walkers including residents and those looking to enjoy riverside walks. The extensive vegetation is forcing pedestrians towards the centre of the highway on this narrow track of road which also is close to a blind bend, making it dangerous and also tight for vehicles to pass pedestrians safely. This is a particular concern now that the nights are drawing in. Please can the vegetation be cut back as reported in August.

  • Double yellow lines obscured due to overgrown vegetation. Clear access for emergency vehicles is vital. Please see image. Council Connect also contacted.

  • It appears some removal has now taken place but the full extent, of the road remains unusable on foot due to mud and general debris. The yellow lines indicate the path of the kerb line. A shovel should resolve the issue?
