I previously report another street lamp out two weeks ago at top of steps leading into car park. I have noticed all three street lamps are out and it is extremely dark for those accessing the path. Walking down the steps is particularly dangerous at night as you can’t see steps properly and could result in a fall. Most residents of the house her use the rear of their houses due to parking cars in the car park, so this is problematic not having any street lighting.

  • We can confirm that these lights are affected by an underground cable issue and we are in the progress of investigating this and arranging a repair. We are sorry for the delay and trust this issue will be resolved as soon as possible. We shall add further information here when known.

  • We are very sorry these lights are still not working. We have recently sent further instructions to our contractors to replace the damaged cables at this location as we found that the existing cable cannot be repaired as we originally hoped.

    Our contractors have been advised to programme this work as a high priority. We shall add further information here as required.
