Today (30/08/24) tarmac ramp has been installed at the entrance to a construction site at the junction between Oldfield Road and Oldfield Lane (BA2 3NG)

This ramp encroaches more than 30cm into the road on a blind, off-camber corner into a narrow lane that will see the return of traffic to St John's Primary School next week.

There is a risk that traffic approaching from the direction of Wellsway will be caught out by the unsighted ramp/obstruction and be pushed wide into the wall opposite risking injury (to both drivers and pedestrians) and damage to property.
