Speed calming measurement required
Reported via Android in the Road sign damage category anonymously at 17:44, Monday 2 September 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6427896.
This is the responsibility of the council as you are responsible for speed calming measurements, ie speed signs, speed bumps and speed cameras!
There is a huge issue with cars speeding down the hill (coming from Timsbury, heading up the road towards the Bath road junction).
The electronic speed sign is facing the other way, but there's also a huge issue with cars speeding driving this road from South to North!
Something needs to be done (speed camera, speed bumps or similar), there will be an accident one day!
Today there was a near miss!
