Reported via mobile in the Obstruction on road or pavement category anonymously at 20:45, Monday 2 September 2024
Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council 15 hours, 18 minutes later. Council ref: 6428658.
I have reported this issue before. The cyclepath where separes from the main cycle path to Bath Spa University and joins the motorway is extremely overgrown. I was singposted to Sustrans but after spokrn to thrm thry said that is under Bath council parks maintenance jobs. I met thrm in the cycle path and the share my worry. The tyres get punctured by the roots and spikes over the path. I cannot enclose pictures as trying to enclose then but the website does not seem to pick the file. Bath Spa Univeristy has also reported the same issue as we expect the students to use the Path. My trycicle (special bike for my disability cannot pass through, especially by the bus stop newton brook where the cycle path joins lower Bristol Road.
