Methodist chapel BS40 8XD (Chapel Lane)

Reported via desktop in the Vegetation overhanging a road or pavement from private land or property category by John Cutler at 12:41, Thursday 5 September 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6439493.

(copy of letter sent today) I would appreciate BANES support on this.

Dear Revd Hayes,

My name is John Cutler and I live opposite the chapel in Chew Stoke. I would like to request that the enormous lime tree be pruned as soon as possible on the road side. Some branches have now reached across the lane and were resting on my wall until I cut them (slightly) back. Also the canopy is now reaching such a height that it is overshadowing and overhanging our front garden. And of course such a tree causes a mess from spring to autumn, and the lane is rarely if ever cleaned.

Yours sincerely,

John Cutler
