Dangerous manhole by public footpath.

Reported via desktop in the Manhole & drain cover damage category anonymously at 16:00, Monday 9 September 2024

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6453820.

The manhole at the top of Bath Old Road opposite Roundhill Recreation Ground has still not been repaired. Contractors have worked on the cables inside in the last month but were not asked to repair the covers. This has been damaged and not repaired for years now. It is an accident waiting to happen as it is next to a public footpath which is used by small children for the local school.
