Blocked road gully outside 121 Frome Road, Writhlington

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. Council ref: 6475962.

Road gully blocked causing overflow to run down drive into 121 Frome Road. Blockage caused when contractors clearing road gullies upstream, problem reported to contractors at time but not rectified. Blocked for last month or so.

  • Sunday 22nd September - heavy rain - blocked road gully outside Frome Rd entrance to 121 Frome Rd BA3 3LW causing highway water to flow down Frome Road and down driveway of 121 Frome Road. Gully inspected by B&NES and reported for cleaning & jetting!

  • 15:45 Sunday 22nd September - blocked road gully causing flooding in driveway of 121 Frome Rd, Writhlington, BA3 3LW. Highway water pouring off Frome Rd down driveway of 121 Frome Rd due to blocked road gully reported previously.

  • Sunday 6th October now heavy rain and the blocked road gullies has caused Frome Road to flood with mud from the farmers fields. Muddy road water now pouring down driveway. B&NES have had enough time to clear the drains, surely B&NES will be liable for the damage to the soakaway drainage of 121 Frome Road, Writhlington BA3 3LW
