Hi – this does not fit exactly any of your pre-defined website criteria of reporting but here goes.
There is a problem with the pathway in Alexandra park beginning at the main viewpoint (more precisely by the gnarly tree roots where previous resurfacing ends) and running down past the allotments as far as it becomes steps down to Widcombe.
This surface is extremely slippery especially when wet but also in drier conditions.
All my family have slipped over and I have witnessed 2 others do so in the last year. At the weekend I found a lady (about mid 30s) who had fallen by the kissing gate and had injured her ankle.
It is a painful experience and a lot of damage is possible with projecting metal etc.
Can it be put on the agenda to be repaired perhaps ahead of any further enhancements of which there seem to have been a lot in the last 3 years?
